(Why Take a Shower)

Would you go a week with out a shower? What about a day? Many aspiring business builders do the equivalent of that every day they do not cleans their brain. Would you go a day with out eating. Well, you need to feed your brain too.

Personal development is a way to stay sharp and focused. It helps you keep perspective. It helps you ignore the limitations that other people put on you. The big turn off to most people is that they think  personal development is nothing more than positive thinking. If you have to think about it, you are to late. Personal development is a way of conditioning your self to do the daily tasks that help you reach your goals. You don’t think about a habit, you just do it. Personal development is about conditioning your mental muscle.

The example I am going to use is not one you would expect. I am not going to talk about an mlm guru or a real estate investment super star. The example is Diego (The Nightmare) Sanchez. Yes i am using a cage fighter as an example of how effective personal development and mental conditioning can be. Diego is a life long learner as well as one of the most dangerous fighters in the UFC.

His situation is unique. He hit the big time when he was selected as a contestant on TUF (The Ultimate Fighter reality show). He won the contest and has gone on to be one of the best in Mixed Martial Arts. To take his game to the next level and earn a shot at the light weight belt, Diego decided to become a student of Tony Robbins. If you don’t know who Tony Robbins is, you can do a search for him on this site and watch a video.

Tony Robbins is a leader in personal success coaching and teaches people to condition their minds. Some non believers have made fun of Diego for working with the Personal Power guy. It is a fact that professional and olympic athletes use personal development and success conditioning in their training every day. If self doubt creeps into the mid of a track runner, he may lose the race. If self doubt creeps into the mind of a fighter, he could end up in the hospital.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship just recently announced that Diego Sanchez will be fighting the legendary B.J. Penn for the UFC light weight championship. Rumor has it Tony Robbins will be in his corner at the fight.
